Tsunoda joins KV Kortrijk on loan while Simic returns

Ryotaro Tsunoda has re-joined KV Kortrijk on loan until the end of the 2024/2025 season.

The Japanese defender signed for the Bluebirds in the 2024 January transfer window and immediately went out on loan to the Belgian side, which is also owned by Vincent Tan.

Tsunoda made made nine appearances in the Jupiler Pro League before a hamstring injury cut his season short.

Cardiff, meanwhile, welcome back striker Roko Simic to the Welsh capital.

The Croatia Under-21 international had also been out on loan with KV Kortrijk.
