Here’s a round-up of all the top transfer news and gossip from the papers on Monday May 29…

Chelsea and Manchester United are both linked with a move for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic in Monday's newspapers.

The Daily Mail claims the Croatia international could be heading to champions Chelsea for £48million.

But the Sun reports United have agreed terms with the former Borussia Dortmund player and are close to securing a transfer for £40m.

Staying with United, the Express claims the Europa League winners are set to offer manager Jose Mourinho a new five-year deal after his first campaign in charge ended with Wednesday's success in Stockholm.

Across Manchester, Pep Guardiola's City are reportedly close to signing Benfica goalkeeper Ederson - but it might not spell the end of Joe Hart at the Etihad Stadium.

The England keeper has spent the season on loan at Italian side Torino, but the Sun claims Pep Guardiola could be persuaded to welcome Hart back into the fold.

West Ham are another side expected to be busy this summer, with the Daily Star linking Everton and England midfielder Ross Barkley with a move to the London Stadium. Tottenham are also interested in the Toffees star.
