Tottenham have confirmed that Radu Drăgușin has been sidelined by an ACL tear.

The Romanian international joined the club last January and became a key figure in Ange Postecoglou's defensive line this season with 28 appearances in all competitions.

But Drăgușin picked up a knock in last month's defeat at Everton, which he was able to shake off to play in back-to-back games with Hoffenheim and Leicester City.

However the 23-year-old suffered a relapse in the Europa League clash with Elfsborg which saw him ruled out of last weekend's win over Brentford.
