Tom Brady sends autographed jersey to Chase Young complete with Michigan-Ohio State barb
Much was made of Chase Young calling for Tom Brady last week.
Washington’s Rookie of the Year candidate got what he asked for in the form of a 31-23 wild-card round loss to Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In the end, it was all respect between the 21-year-old and the 21-year NFL veteran. The two shared their mutual admiration at the end of the game on Jan. 9, and Young asked Brady for his jersey.

“Hey Chase, way to play, bro,” Brady told Young.
“I appreciate you,” Young responded. “You the real GOAT. I need something from you though.”
“What do you need?” Brady asked.
“I need this off you,” Young said of Brady’s jersey.
Brady delivers
COVID-19 restrictions bar players from exchanging jerseys on the field. So Brady vowed to send it to Young. On Saturday he delivered. Young shared video of the gift on his Instagram page. It came complete with an autograph and a friendly barb from the Michigan man to the Ohio State great.

“Chase, best of luck!” Brady wrote. “Go Blue.”
Young didn’t seem to mind the taunt around the bitter college football rivalry and came away with another memento from his remarkable rookie season.
