To get into the Duke vs. UNC game, Cameron Crazies take a selection test

If you cannot name every Duke coach and their positions and every player on the basketball team as well as their jersey number, hometown and high school, you wouldn’t be able to sit in the “Cameron Crazies” student section for Duke’s Thursday night Rivalry game against North Carolina.

In order to grab these coveted student section seats, students had to take a 37-question short answer test. The test questions ranged from asking to name all the different AP Poll ranks Duke has had this season to asking which player completed a bottle flip at Countdown to Craziness.

According to the Wall Street Journal, once students were inside the Cameron Indoor Stadium, “the line monitors circled the room like proctors looking for any signs of cheating. After exactly one hour, the students put their pencils down and began refreshing their emails, waiting for results. They soon found out that there was no grade inflation.” The cutoff was 77 percent and the highest score was 93 percent.

WSJ reported that students who were below the cutoff were placed on a wait list.
