Timothy Olyphant was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he discussed rejecting the role of Dominic Toretto in the über-successful Fast and Furious franchise.

“I just thought, well, this will just be stupid, and I thought no one is gonna wanna see this movie eight or nine different times,” Olyphant said. “I mean, by the third or fourth sequel, people are gonna definitely get bored of it. Right?”

The Fast and Furious movies have grossed over $5 billion globally. The franchise has also made Vin Diesel, who played Toretto, an extremely wealthy international superstar. When asked if he regrets passing on the opportunity, Olyphant said, “No. It’s not my thing.”

That Olyphant has a successful television career and is a Vanderbilt heir makes it more believable that he doesn’t cry himself to sleep every night.

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sundays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. on Bravo.
