TikTok is obsessed with the Victoria’s Secret Angel makeup look — here’s how to do it

While Victoria’s Secret went through some much-needed rebranding two years ago, TikTok recently rediscovered the signature makeup look the ’90s Angels wore for the shows and in the VS magazines. It’s soft, sultry and not too complicated. You could easily recreate it.
In fact, there are tons of videos online to help you do it. The search term “victoria secret makeup tutorial” has already generated 88.1 billion views on TikTok. One of the most popular TikTok tutorials comes from creator @madddnot; her original tutorial, posted May 2, 2023, has over 2.7 million views. After that, she posted another video on how to do your makeup like former VS Angel Adriana Lima.
While she doesn’t go too much into the products she uses, some other TikTok users shared a 2018 makeup tutorial from Charlotte Tilbury that shows you how to get the Victoria’s Secret fashion show look. Yes, it’s from 2018, but the makeup didn’t change much from the ’90s.
In the video, Charlotte calls it a “fresh, natural, glamorous look” that “enhances your natural features.”
Here are some key parts of the makeup look:
Nude yet shimmery eyeshadow on top and under the eye
Smudged eyeliner with a small wing
Soft pink blush
Plenty of highlighter on the nose, in the corner of the eyes, on the top of cheekbones and on top of the cupid’s bow
Nude or light pink lipstick with plenty of gloss on top
