Looking for a hack to jump-start Hot Girl Summer? The secret is all in the eyes — or so TikTok claims.

User Sophie-Rose Lloyd (@sophieroselloyd) shared a “psychology love eye trick” that will supposedly aid your ability to make someone fall in love with you.

In a viral post, she demonstrated the triangular eye movement necessary to pull off the trick. In a follow-up video, she clarified that it’s called the “love triangle,” and there are three steps.

Once you’re on a one-on-one with your romantic target, be sure to …

  1. Look at their left eye.

  2. Look at their mouth.

  3. Look at their right eye.

Here’s everything coffee lovers need for a better cup of joe:

You’ll need to make sure that you and your soon-to-be lover already have a connection and common interests. The trick doesn’t typically work with strangers, Lloyd explained.

Commenters were excited to try the “psychology love eye trick.”

“I’m about to make the world mine,” one user wrote.

“I do this to everyone just because it’s fun,” another said.

Others were skeptical.

“It helps if you’re super pretty,” one user said.

“Y’all are this desperate?” another asked.

For what it’s worth, plenty of research shows that eye contact can have an impact on whether or not people feel attracted to you. The hack might not be magical, but it’s not too farfetched.
