Tiago Djaló one step away from joining Roma on loan

Portuguese defender Tiago Djaló is closing in on a loan move to Roma from Juventus.

The Giallorossi are working on securing one additional centreback following Marash Kumbulla’s exit.

In recent days, Roma set their sights of Juve’s Tiago Djaló.

The Juventus centreback is not part of Thiago Motta’s plans and the Bianconeri have opened up to the loan after closing the deal for Milan’s Pierre Kalulu.

According to Tuttosport, Djaló is now one step away from leaving Juve, with Roma getting ever closer to Giuntoli’s requests: there is talk of a loan with right of option to buy set at 7 million euros.

The parties are not far apart and the official announcement could even arrive in the next few hours.
