San Jose Sharks at St. Louis Blues

Oh what a difference a year can make. Less than 12 months out from the Blues winning a grueling six-game battle in last season’s Western Conference final, both of these organizations have followed very different trajectories since their meeting last spring. St. Louis is a contender once again after winning its first Stanley Cup, while the Sharks are playing for pride and draft-seeding following a disappointing 2019-20 campaign.

Chicago Blackhawks at Washington Capitals

Two of the NHL’s marquee franchises face off on Saturday, with the 2019 Cup-champion Capitals hosting a squad that captured three championships of its own over the 2010s. The Blackhawks haven’t quite had that championship pedigree as it trudges through a bit of a rebuild year, but they still have a glimmer of postseason hope as they take the ice against one of the East’s top squads.

Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins

Saturday March 14, 7:00 p.m. ET

From one epic seven-game playoff series after another to the regular-season barnburners highlighting this divisional rivalry, the Leafs and Bruins literally never disappoint. The Maple Leafs have been up and down all year and are firmly in a battle for their playoff lives, while the Bruins continue to try and fend off the surging Lightning at the top of the Atlantic Division.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Carolina Hurricanes

Saturday March 14, 7:00 p.m. ET

This could very well be the game of the week as both of these divisional rivals are battling for their playoff lives down the stretch. A few weeks ago the Penguins were comfortably in a postseason spot, but things have gone downhill mightily since then with the team dropping eight of its last 10 games at the worst possible time. The Hurricanes, meanwhile, are barely holding on to the second wild-card spot in the East, with several teams nipping at their heels.

Edmonton Oilers at Philadelphia Flyers

Sunday March 15, 1:30 p.m. ET

Arguably the two best players in the world—Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid—highlight the Edmonton Oilers rosters, while the Flyers head into this contest as the NHL’s hottest team. Need we say more?
