If you're an outdoors enthusiast that doesn't let weather stop you from enjoying an early morning run in the middle of winter, The North Face has an answer if you're looking to switch up your open air wardrobe in favor of something more insulated.

Capitalizing off the success of the January 2021 launch of the Vectiv shoe, the Colorado-based brand is back with a new innovation that takes winter exploration to the next level. The newest addition to its Flight Series is the Flight Vectiv Guard Futurelight, a lightweight but rugged trail running shoe that can handle the elements without compromising style or durability.

Available in both men's and women's sizes, additional features include a rubber outsole optimized for trail running in any condition and a 3D carbon plate underfoot for multi-directional stability and forward propulsion. Perhaps the most standout highlight is the zippered, protective gaiter that has a breathable and waterproof membrane enhanced with quality material to ensure sturdiness over time.

Part of what makes The North Face one of the most trusted brands in outdoor gear is their commitment to always raising the bar. They're constantly working with a team of designers, official athletes and of course consumers to develop quality products that can withstand bitterly cold climbs or peaceful evenings around a bonfire. If running is a serious part of your fitness routine, then consider splurging on a pair of the Flight Vectiv Guard Futurelight.
