Tennessee WR: Liking negative tweet about Butch Jones didn't mean he liked it

Tennessee wide receiver Marquez Callaway liked a negative tweet about his coach Butch Jones on Thursday. But he said he really didn’t actually like it.

The tweet in question was a user answering a question of what coach was worse than Georgia Southern’s Tyson Summers. Georgia Southern played this week and fell to 0-4 after losing to Arkansas State.

The “like” is no longer on Callaway’s page. And he said Friday morning that he wasn’t agreeing with the user’s opinion.

Callaway has eight catches for 198 yards and leads the team with three touchdowns in 2017. The Vols are reeling after a 41-0 loss to Georgia on Saturday. UT is off on Saturday.

Things also reportedly didn’t go well at practice this week. According to longtime Tennessee reporter Jimmy Hyams, a player needed stitches after getting kicked in the face.

Yeah, Tennessee needs this bye week.
