Sydney Sweeney Is Walking Art In Structural Balmain Top

Sydney Sweeney gave wearable art a whole new meaning on Friday after she made an appearance in a floral structural piece.

Sweeney isn't known to shy away from daring fashion choices, becoming somewhat of a red carpet-icon in her own right. And that was the case on Friday night when Sweeney posed for photographers at the Egyptian Theatre Hollywood in Los Angeles ahead of the premiere of her new horror film Immaculate. Sweeney is always a stunner, but this time, it was the top she was wearing that stole the show.

Sweeney wore a straight-off-the-runway white, floral structural top that looked as if two hands were holding a bouquet. The top perfectly wrapped around Sweeney, who went without a shirt or bra underneath. The Balmain piece debuted at Paris Fashion Week in February, as the brand presented its fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. Much like on the runway, Sweeney paired the top with a pair of black trousers — allowing the florals to be the main event.

Sweeney's slicked-back wet hair added to the chic outfit, along with her nude lip and elegant makeup. After the movie premiere, Sweeney changed into something a bit more comfortable — opting for a white sweater instead.

Sydney Sweeney has been keeping busy in recent months, promoting multiple films, hosting Saturday Night Live, and attending every A-list event imaginable, including Paris Fashion Week to debut her new lob (long bob). Sweeney's rom-com, Anyone But You saw major box office success — and was fodder for affair rumors between her and co-star Glen Powell.

In Sweeney's latest project, Immaculate, she stars as a pregnant nun who leaves America to Italy in search of a picturesque convent. Things turn sinister and Sweeney's character discovers the convent holds “a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.” The actor was also a producer on the film. Sweeney got to dip into a different side of her acting chops for this role, saying in an interview “It’s madness. I go unhinged, which always is fun.”
