Watch: Sydney Sweeney fondly remembers working with Quentin Tarantino

Nocturne stars Sydney Sweeney and Madison Iseman are two of the most exciting new actresses in Hollywood. You might not recognise the names yet, but you’ll know their work.

You’ll have seen Sweeney in the terrifying Spahn Ranch scenes in Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, and you’ll recognise Iseman from the brilliant Jumanji reboot movies: she’s Bethany, the girl who turns into Jack Black in the game.

So, we decided to ask them about both movies – starting with 2019’s Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. Just what does a young actor learn from Quentin Tarantino?

“Just listening to the stories he would tell, and seeing how he would work and not having to worry about the next scene, just really focusing on the art we were making right then and there, making sure that we’re happy before we move on.

“What can I not say? He’s incredible, it was an absolute dream to work with him.”

Of course, another 2019 movie we’re big fans of is Jumanji: The Next Level, the entertaining follow up to the excellent Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. What should we expect from the third installment?

“If you find out, let me know,” Iseman laughs. “Everything is still in the works, we’re just waiting to hear. With the world [as it is] right now, everything got put on pause, unfortunately. But we’re really hoping to get some sort of good news soon. Because I know everyone wants a new one as much as I do, so hopefully we’ll get some news soon, but we’ll see.”

Until then, you can see Iseman and Sweeney in Nocturne, a film they used memories of their own personal sacrifices to make.

Nocturne is streaming on Amazon Prime Video now, as part of its Welcome To The Blumhouse collection.
