Yahoo Sports Succession’s Brian Cox praises "greatest work experience ever" in farewell post

Brian Cox bid farewell to Logan Roy and Succession in a touching tribute posted to social media after the series finale aired, describing the show as his "greatest work experience ever".
Cox, who began playing the Roy patriarch back in 2018, took to his Instagram Story on Monday (May 29) to express his appreciation for the show's cast and crew after Succession bowed out with one final twist.
"We have now come to the end. And what has been, in my career, certainly the greatest work experience ever. The harmony between crew and cast was truly amazing," he wrote.

The actor continued: "It was on its way to become a great series, but the love and commitment from crew to cast and writers made it memorable.
"I would like to thank all of us in the making and creating of this show from the very bottom of my heart."
Logan was killed off in the final season's third episode, and, despite his love for the show and everyone involved in it, Cox recently said that his character was written out "too early."

"I was fine with it ultimately, but I did feel a little bit rejected. You know, I felt a little bit, oh, all the work I've done and finally I'm going to, you know, end up as an ear on a carpet of a plane," he explained.
However, Cox did go on to say that creator Jesse Armstrong handled Logan's death "brilliantly" by killing him off screen, adding that he was mistaken to initially view it as a "form of rejection".
Succession season 4 airs on HBO in the US, and Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
