To go with her black gown with a high slit and plunging neckline for prom, Eleanor Clarke added silver accessories. In addition to strappy shoes and pearl drop earrings, the teen carried a metallic clutch.
However, what at first glance appears to be a bag actually isn’t a carryall for her cell phone and lip gloss. Instead, it’s a large flask.

“Still don’t know how I got away with a huge hip flask as my prom clutch,” the high school student in the United Kingdom (where the legal drinking age is 18) captioned her formal photos on Twitter.
In a series of snaps, Clarke is pictured posing gracefully with four friends before they head off to the dance. The hip flask, which she reportedly bought from Tiger for $12, is hidden in plain sight. A bottle cap is just visible when Eleanor turns the clutch bag into an upright position.
It should be noted that Clarke has not revealed whether the flask was filled with alcohol or any substance at all.
Since the photos were uploaded to Twitter, they have been liked more than 300,000 times, with Eleanor becoming a “living legend” among her followers.
