Steve Nash: Claims Improvement With Tight Back

Rotowire.com
Update: Nash's ailing back is improving, the LA Daily News reports. After notching 16 points (6-8 FG, 4-5 FT), five assists, and three rebounds in 34 minutes during Monday's loss in Denver, he relayed, "It actually felt a little better tonight. It's on its way out."

Recommendation: On a daily basis, Nash receives specific treatment on his back from the Lakers' physical therapist, which appears to have eased the back tightness that cropped up Friday. He hasn't missed any time as a result, and with upcoming games Thursday and Sunday, he should continue to play through any lingering pain.
