The craziest finish of the weekend came from the FCS level.
Down in Nagodoches, Texas, Stephen F. Austin hosted Southland Conference foe Incarnate Word and it was a close one. The game was tied at 31 in the final minute and Incarnate Word faced a third and eight play deep in its own territory. Instead of playing for OT, Incarnate Word went for a big pass play via a flea flicker.
Quarterback Sean Brophy tossed it deep down the field into triple coverage, and his pass was picked off by SFA safety Alize Ward. Ward then pulled off an awesome individual effort to give the Lumberjacks a dramatic walk-off win.

Yep. Ward took the interception all the way back — 67 yards — to give Stephen F. Austin a win with no time left on the clock.
The best part was when he capped the return off with an awesome hurdle just inside the 10-yard line to make sure he reached the end zone.
Ward’s touchdown sealed the first win of the year for the Lumberjacks. Incarnate Word fell to 0-3.
