Stephen Curry invites personal questions, declines many moon-related inquiries

Surely Stephen Curry saw this coming when he dropped his moon bomb on Monday.

The Golden State Warriors guard opened up his Twitter mentions to questions Tuesday night for a Q&A with fans to promote his new kicks.

Steph asks for questions day after dropping moon theory

The promo comes a day after Curry informed the world that he buys into the completely nonsensical, thoroughly debunked, anti-science, anti-intelligence conspiracy theory that the moon landing was faked.

I could go into the many reasons this is ridiculous, but my colleague Ben Rohrbach already covered that ground. So let’s get to the questions.

Which were not hard to see coming.

Except for Curry, apparently.

The questions

Some people didn’t have questions and just went straight to telling Steph what’s up.

Foolish or brilliant?

Curry unsurprisingly declined to address any moon-related questions, opting instead to give boring answers to questions about Klay Thompson’s poker game and, of course, his new shoes. We won’t bog things down here with those responses.

Of course, as I put this post together, I realized that Curry may be the true mastermind here.

He may sound like a fool for a minute. But without his moon nonsense, this blog post with a dozen or so images of Curry pointing at his new shoes would never have existed.

Touche, Steph and Steph’s marketing team.
