In a recent interview on “Ellen,” Ronda Rousey teased that her mixed martial arts career would end relatively soon. And although that is sad for many of her fans who love to see Rousey throw down in the cage, the news is music to the ears of Stephanie McMahon, Chief Brand Officer of WWE and daughter to Vince McMahon.

With it being widely known that Rousey is a huge fan of professional wrestling, it’s no secret that the McMahons would love to add her to their roster.

“I certainly hope so,” McMahon said to TMZ about the idea of bringing Rousey into the fold once her career in the Octagon is over.

Rousey has a relationship with the WWE as she has been ringside for several events and was a part of WrestleMania 31 when she stood alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a segment opposite McMahon and her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque. There was speculation that the brief interaction was a tease for a future mixed tag-team match, and if Rousey decides to try her hand in the world of sports entertainment, McMahon would welcome her with open arms.

“I’ve got to get her back after she put me in that armbar [at WrestleMania],” she joked. “I’m certainly going to try to get her. Let’s leave it at that.”
