Yahoo Sports Starbucks' New Collab Is All About Using Astrology To Choose Your Order
For many people, astrological signs can tell you a lot: your personality traits, your strengths and weaknesses, and if you're romantically compatible with that person you just started texting. And now, thanks to Starbucks, your sign can now reveal your perfect drink order.
To celebrate the astrological new year, which starts today, the coffee shop has launched Starbucks Star Signs. Starbucks fans who visit StarbucksStarSigns.com will be asked to enter their zodiac sign and choose whether they prefer a coffee break in the morning or afternoon. From there, they'll receive their Starbucks drink recommendation along with their spring horoscope, power words, spring color, and spring flower.
The new promotion serves as a partnership between Starbucks and the astrology app Sanctuary.
“When developing the star sign and drink pairings, we looked at the core personality traits of each sign to identify a beverage that acts as an expression of your planetary ruler," said Sanctuary astrologer Lauren Ash, in a statement. "March is the start of Aries season, and Aries are known to be bold and confident. These readings are designed to empower anyone, regardless of star sign, to lean into that energy with the fresh start of spring.”
If you prefer to go rogue and choose your own drink, Starbucks just introduced their spring menu, which includes the all-new Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew. And you can never go wrong with a classic Iced Coffee.
