Stabbing near RT light rail station in Rancho Cordova leaves 37-year-old man injured
A man was stabbed Wednesday near a light rail station in Rancho Cordova, authorities said.
Around 8:45 a.m., a 37-year-old man was stabbed near the Zinfandel light rail station, according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi.
The victim was stabbed in the arm and sent to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Gandhi said.
The incident did stop train service for several minutes, according to officials.
