Sources: Nando de Colo leaving Raptors to sign with CSKA Moscow
Free-agent guard Nando de Colo turned down a two-year offer to return to the Toronto Raptors to accept a deal with CSKA Moscow, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
DeColo came to the Raptors in a February trade from the San Antonio Spurs, and general manager Masai Ujiri had offered to bring him back on a deal. Nevertheless, Colo accepted the CSKA offer on Monday.
Toronto is working to re-sign restricted free agent Greivis Vasquez, and secured starting point guard Kyle Lowry with a four-year, $48 million contract last week.
De Colo, 27, was a second-round pick of the Spurs in 2009. He signed with San Antonio in 2012 and played two seasons there until his trade to Toronto for Austin Daye in February.
