Sources: Kris Humphries gets $13M deal from Wizards
Free-agent forward Kris Humphries has agreed to a three-year, $13 million deal with the Washington Wizards, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
The Boston Celtics have reached ageement on a sign-and-trade with Washington to fit Humphries' deal into the salary cap, sources said. Boston gets a future protected second-round pick and a trade exception in the deal, sources said.
The third year of Humphries' contract will be a team option, a source said.
Humphries, 29, averaged eight points and six rebounds for the Celtics last year. He'll come to Washington to replace Trevor Booker as a backup power forward. Booker accepted a two-year, $10 million free-agent deal with the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
