Source: Utah St. corner Nevin Lawson visits Browns next week
Utah State cornerback Nevin Lawson visits the Cleveland Browns next Wednesday and Thursday, according to a league source.
He previously visited the Atlanta Falcons.
Lawson is a physical cornerback who was assigned to cover opponents' top receiver while playing for the Aggies.
Lawson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds with a 33-inch vertical leap and a 10-foot broad jump at the NFL scouting combine in February. He bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times.
At Utah State, Lawson started 39 consecutive games and was a two-time All-Moutain West Athletic Conference selection. He had 53 tackles, four interceptions, 13 pass deflections and a forced fumble last season.
