Wide receiver Ryan Switzer has been traded for the second time in four months, this time going from the Oakland Raiders to the Pittsburgh Steelers, a league source told Yahoo Sports.

On an April 28 draft-day trade, Switzer – who grew up just hours away from Pittsburgh in Charleston, West Virginia – was dealt from Dallas to Oakland.

A valuable special teams player, the former North Carolina standout totaled nearly nine yards per punt return as a rookie with the Cowboys last season, including an 83-yard touchdown runback. Additionally, Switzer ranked seventh in total kick return yardage and 12th in total punt return yardage.

Pittsburgh will also deploy the PFWA All-Rookie selection in the slot, to complement All-Pro Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and promising rookie James Washington, who has made a habit of making highlight-reel catches during the preseason. Slot receiver Eli Rogers is not only suspended Week 1, but also recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

This is the second time the Steelers and Raiders have made a trade this offseason for a receiver. Pittsburgh dealt Martavis Bryant to Oakland for the 79th pick in the 2018 draft on April 26.
