Source: Falcons worked out Murray State WR Walter Powell today

The Atlanta Falcons conducted a private workout today for Murray State wide receiver Walter Powell, according to a league source.

Powell caught 66 passes for 837 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

He also had 346 kickoff return yards.

He averaged 31.5 yards per return, with one touchdown return.

At the NFL scouting combine, Powell ran the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds with 10 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press. He had a 31.5-inch vertical leap and a 10-foot broad jump.
