Source: Cincinnati TE Blake Annen worked out for Eagles
Cincinnati tight end Blake Annen conducted a private workout for Philadelphia Eagles assistant tight ends coach Justin Peelle last week, according to a league source.
Annen is graded as a later-round draft target, but has intriguing athleticism.
Annen ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 25 times with a 34-inch vertical leap and a 10-foot broad jump at his campus Pro Day workout.
The 6-foot-4, 247-pounder caught 15 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns last season and was named all-conference.
Annen replaced Travis Kelce last year after the Kansas City Chiefs drafted him in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft.
