Source: Seahawks re-sign TE Anthony McCoy

Tight end Anthony McCoy and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on an extension, a league source told Yahoo Sports on Monday.

McCoy missed all of the 2013 season after tearing his Achilles tendon during organized team activities in May. As a solid backup for Zach Miller in 2012, McCoy had 18 catches for 291 yards and three touchdowns. He started five of the 16 games he appeared in the year Seattle advanced to the second round of the NFC playoffs.

McCoy, 26, was a sixth-round draft pick out of USC in 2010.
