UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen played in some tough road venues in 2015 as a true freshman, but he hasn’t seen a crowd of 100,000-plus like he will see Saturday at Texas A&M. Still, he didn’t seem too worried about the 12th Man at Kyle Field in a Tuesday press conference. This quote could be some bulletin board material for the Aggies.

Twitter will broadcast college football for the first time on Thursday when Utah State hosts Weber State. Air Force’s home game against Abilene Christian on Saturday will also be streamed live on Twitter.

Former Air Force star quarterback Dee Dowis died Tuesday in a car accident. He was 48. Dowis set an NCAA record for rushing yards by a quarterback in a season for the Falcons in 1989 and finished sixth in Heisman voting.

After his arrest last week, Auburn has suspended defensive back Stephen Roberts for the opener against Clemson. Tigers coach Gus Malzahn announced the news Tuesday.

UCLA will likely be without two players against A&M because of concussions.

Miami defensive end Trent Harris, a starter, reportedly broke his hand in practice. His status for Saturday’s opener is up in the air.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has informed his team who will start at quarterback, but will not tell the public. The battle was down to John O’Korn and Wilton Speight.

Penn State tight end Nick Bowers is out for the season. Bowers, a redshirt freshman, was expected to be the team’s No. 2 tight end this season.
