Should we be surprised that Mike Leach hates dancing?
Washington State coach Mike Leach is not a fan of dancing.
The unsurprising — to us, anyway — revelation came in an ESPN story about Washington State cornerback Marcellus Pippins, a player who likes to dance to get ready before games. And while Leach supports Pippins’ right to dance on the sidelines, he’s not going to be partaking in the activity anytime soon.
Heck, Leach hated dancing so much as a kid that he’d get himself kicked out of P.E. class if necessary.

The way Leach describes his forced dance routine makes us wonder if he’s the originator of the “Run Off Da Plug” dance that was quite a popular touchdown celebration at the end of the 2015 season. The celebrations were modeled off the dance that rapper Plies did in his music video.
Maybe we can get Leach’s wife Sharon to coerce him to dance like this. Or maybe Pippins can convince Leach to dance if WSU wins the Pac-12. That would be enjoyable, right?
