Sheffield Wednesday announced the permanent signing of Canadian international Iké Ugbo on Thursday – and they did it uniquely!

The 25-year-old centre-forward officially joined from French side Troyes in a reported seven-figure deal.

And to announce the news, the club let Ugbo interrupt Thursday’s press conference with manager Danny Rohl by walking in out of nowhere.

Ugbo is the club’s 10th summer signing and previously registered seven goals and one assist in 19 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday.
