Senators' Marc Methot suffers gruesome finger injury from Sidney Crosby slash

Ottawa Senators' defenceman Marc Methot was on the wrong end of a Sidney Crosby slash on Thursday.

And his finger paid the price.

In a gruesome scene in Ottawa, the tip of Methot's finger was sliced in two after he removed his glove.

Crosby was not penalized on the play.

The Penguins captain has gotten away with a few slashes recently. On Tuesday, Crosby's slash on unsuspecting Buffalo Sabres forward Ryan O'Reilly went undetected.
