Seeley scores 32, Fullerton tops UC Davis 95-88

DAVIS, Calif. (AP) -- D.J. Seeley scored 32 points and Kwame Vaughn had 20 as Cal State Fullerton defeated UC Davis 95-88 Thursday night.

Seeley and Vaughn also had six assists apiece and combined for seven steals as the Titans (11-8, 4-3 Big West) snapped a two-game losing streak. Sammy Yeager added 16 points and eight rebounds for Fullerton, and Alex Harris had 10 points.

UC Davis (7-11, 3-4) got 22 points apiece from J.T. Adenrele and Corey Hawkins, 18 from Ryan Sypkens and 11 from Josh Ritchart.

The Aggies led by eight points early in the second half before Fullerton took the lead, 74-73, on Yeager's 3-pointer with 9 minutes left. Vaughn's three-point play with 7:46 remaining put the Titans up for good, 76-74.

Both teams shot the ball well. The Titans made 55 percent of their attempts, including 12 of 23 from beyond the arc, while UC Davis converted 51 percent.
