It may be a few years since The Big Bang Theory ended after 12 seasons, but that doesn't mean the cast doesn't like to reminisce about their time together.

In a new photo uploaded to her Instagram, Jeopardy! co-host Mayim Bialik shared a throwback to when she worked with Jim Parsons. Taken during a behind-the-scenes moment at an awards show, fans could see the duo embrace each other for a hug while wearing matching colored outfits to the event.

"Fun flashback pic that just came up in my feed from the 2018 Critics Choice Awards!" she wrote in the caption on January 11.

Given how viewers fell in love with Jim and Mayim's portrayals of Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, it was only natural for longtime followers to have major feels about the nostalgic post. But folks who love the hit CBS sitcom also took the chance to ask the two to reunite on future projects.

"My two favorite people in the world! We all really do miss the Shamy 💞💖," one person wrote in the Instagram comments section. "Please have him on your podcast I love you [two] so much ❤️😍," a different user pleaded, referring to Mayim Bialik's Breakdown. "Wish Jim would guest star on Call Me Kat! ❤️," another added.

While Mayim and Jim may not necessarily be seen onscreen at the moment, it turns out that they are still working together in some capacity. The two are co-executive producers of Call Me Kat alongside Jim's husband Todd Spiewak. In fact, the longtime friends spoke out about reuniting for TV, although not in the way fans would have expected.

"Jim came to me and he said, 'I wanna know what you think about this project that my company has," she said during a January 2021 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "It's this Miranda show, it was really popular on the BBC."

Mayim continued: "I said, 'Well, Jim — that seems like a really awesome project! Good luck! You've got my vote of confidence. And he said, 'No, I'm asking because I want you to be in it. And I was shocked ... He obviously still wanted to work with me."
