What is Coach Outlet?

The Coach brand was founded in 1941 in New York, and is best known for its purses and handbags. Coach Outlet is the brand's discount division, where shoppers can buy Coach-branded purses, wallets and wristlets and more, most of which are available for sale in Coach Outlet brick-and-mortar locations, and some of which are exclusive to the website. Coach Outlet also stocks some discounted product from the main Coach line.

What's the difference between Coach and Couch Outlet?

Coach and Coach Outlet sell similar ranges of handbags, accessories and clothing for men and women. While the design language and logos are consistent between Coach and Coach Outlet products, purses and other items under the Coach brand are made with higher-end materials (particularly leathers) and finishes, a difference that is evident in the pricing: Purses at Coach generally retail between $150 and $675; purses at Coach Outlet generally sell for between $59 and $299.

Why is Coach Outlet so cheap?

In addition to the differences in materials and hardware, Coach Outlet sometimes stocks past-season styles or discontinued items from Coach. Since the brand wants to clear out the older merchandise, it's willing to drop the prices—sometimes significantly.
