Saints sign CFL safety Marcus Ball

The New Orleans Saints are signing Canadian Football League safety Marcus Ball on a three-year contract.

Ball has played two seasons for the Toronto Argonauts.

He played collegiately at the University of Memphis.

For Toronto, Ball registered 142 tackles, four interceptions, seven sacks, three fumble recoveris.

Last season, Ball had 69 tackles, four sacks and three interceptions.

Bell is a Florida State transfer who attended Pearl River Community College before transferring to Memphis.

In college, he finished with 145 career tackles, five interceptions and one sack.
