Sack by Minnesota's Tai'yon Devers forces CSU QB's helmet to fly off

Damn, this is a heck of a hit.

Minnesota’s Tai’yon Devers sacked Colorado State QB Collin Hill so hard that Hill lost his helmet in addition to the ball. And Hill’s helmet went flying.

While the hit was vicious, it was clean too. Devers didn’t lower his head and hit Hill in the chest and shoulder; there’s no need to worry about targeting on the play.

Minnesota recovered the fumble but was unable to capitalize on the recovery and punted after going three-and-out.

The Gophers held off the Rams in the second half to win 31-24 and remain undefeated (3-0) with a trip to Penn State ahead next Saturday.
