Hearts defender Kye Rowles scored his first international goal as Australia beat Lebanon 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier in Sydney.

The 25-year-old doubled the Socceroos' lead in the second half, firing home after a corner dropped to him in the box.

St Mirren midfielder Keanu Baccus had given Australia the lead early on, as his cross looped over the Lebanon keeper.
