Don't you just love it when celebs hold a Q&A on Instagram and lay themselves bare to all your burning beauty questions? Model and beautypreneur Rosie Huntington-Whiteley does it regularly, and in a recent sesh, she revealed the product she believes helped restore her postpartum hair loss.

Rosie isn't the first celeb to open up about the hair shed that happens around six months after child birth due to falling estrogen levels. American model and presenter Ashley Graham has always been open and honest about hers, normalising the cute "baby hairs" that appear as regrowth begins.

The good news is, postpartum hair loss isn't considered a permanent condition, and using a good strengthening product will help to encourage healthy hair growth when it eventually makes a return.

Now let's get real, Rosie has the most incredible thick hair anyway, so comparing our hair woes to hers feels like a bit of a pointless thing to do. But it's also worth remembering she has access to a wealth of beauty brands and treatments, which is why when she recommended something for a condition that affects sooo many women, we sat up and listened.

The product Rosie recommends is the Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Izumi Tonic, which harnesses the hair-strengthening power of rice water. Packed with vitamins, minerals and amino acids, fermented rice water has been used for centuries in China to keep hair healthy and strong, so it's no surprise mainstream brands are finding ways to work it into their formulas.

It's also worth remembering your hair loss could be caused by a number of different reasons, including stress, diet change, hormonal fluctuations and underlying health conditions. With that in mind, it’s always important to check with your GP if you think something’s up...
