Roma targeting Assignon, Abdulhamid as next reinforcements

Roma are looking for additional reinforcements with Lorenz Assignon and Saud Abdulhamid closely linked with a move to the club.

The two fullbacks are not mutually exclusive.

On the contrary: La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma are nearing deals for both players who are expected to arrive in Italy next week.

For Assignon, Roma are about to send an official proposal worth €10 million: €1 million loan fee plus an obligation to buy at his first appearance in Giallorossi colors for €9 million.

In the meantime, the capital club have an agreement in place with Al Hilal for Saud Abdulhamid’s transfer for a fee of €2.5 million.

Their arrivals could however exclude Zeki Celik as Roma are unlikely to keep three right-backs on their roster.
