Roma to send Joao Costa on loan to Hull City

Roma are reportedly ready to send Primavera winger Joao Costa out on loan to England.

The Brazilian footballer – who featured several times for Roma in this year’s preseason friendlies – is said to be closing in on a move to the English Championship.

According to 3 Added Minutes, Roma and Hull City have an agreement for the loan of the 19-year-old.

For Costa this would represent a unique opportunity to get consistent minutes and return to Roma at the end of the season with valuable experience which could allow him to feature for the first team in a year from now.

Costa was often praised by Daniele De Rossi as one of the players the club should focus on for the future – his loan to England would represent a boost for his confidence in Roma’s long-term plans.
