Roma put Chris Smalling’s move to Al Fayha on hold

Chris Smalling’s move to Al Fayha has been put on hold.

Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that the deal between Roma and Al Fayha has been subject to delays and Smalling’s transfer is now far from guranteed.

The Englishman was in talks to join Al Fayha on a two-year contract until 2026.

Smalling was even scheduled to undergo his medical with the Saudi club today.

However, his move is now in jeopardy and could collapse.
