Roma not interested in pursuing Marc Pubill again

Roma are prioritizing the addition of a new right-back.

With Rick Karsdorp excluded from the club’s long-term plans, Roma are looking for one more fullback who could rotate with Zeki Celik.

At the moment, Lorenz Assignon appears to be leading the race but Rennes have yet to agree on a fee with Roma.

In the meantime, rumors suggesting a renewed interest on Roma’s part in Spanish wide man Marc Pubill resurfaced in light of the player’s recent failure to pass his medicals with Atalanta.

According to calciomercato.com, however, Roma are no longer interested in Pubill and do not plan on pursuing him again.
