Roma looking to sign Sevilla defender Loic Bade

Roma have taken steps to sign Sevilla defender Loic Bade.

The French centreback is the latest name to be linked with a possible move to the Italian capital.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are seeking an additional defender for Daniele De Rossi and Bade is reportedly the first name on Florent Ghisolfi’s shortlist.

Di Marzio reports that Roma have already opened talks with Sevilla, inquiring about the possibility of including technical counterparts in a deal involving Bade.

However, Sevilla responded by asking cash-only and setting Bade’s price-tag at 20 million euros.

The parties, for the moment, are far apart but it is a sign of how Roma also want to intervene in defense and add a strong central defender to Daniele De Rossi’s team.
