Roma line up Koni De Winter as Kumbulla’s replacement

Roma are pushing for a new defensive signing with Genoa’s Koni De Winter included in the club’s summer shortlist.

The young ex-Juve defender is in fact an objective for the capital club.

According to Il Tempo, in addition to Sevilla’s Loic Bade, Roma have also their eyes set on De Winter who has shown promising things in his last season at Genoa.

The newspaper argues that a lot will depend on Marash Kumbulla’s departure: the Albanian centreback is no longer in Roma’s plans and edges closer to a summer exit.

With Kumbulla gone, Roma would focus their attention of bringing in De Winter.
