Roma are at work to secure the services of Austrian defender Kevin Danso.

The capital club are currently locked in negotiations with Lens for the 25-year-old who is now the Giallorossi’s priority for the defense.

Tonight’s report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport confirms Roma’s submission of their first offer: 22 million euros.

However, at the moment Lens are not satisfied with this proposal.

The French club are demanding 25 million euros.

Di Marzio reports that Roma will take time to reflect on whether to proceed with a second offer given Paulo Dybala’s sudden decision to stay.

The Argentine’s possible move to Al Qadsiah could have expanded Roma’s transfer budget. With Dybala staying on, Roma will have to work with more limited means and thus choose their targets carefully.
