Roma to close deal for Lorenz Assignon

Roma are accelerating in their pursuit of Daniele De Rossi’s new right-back.

The Giallorossi are in fact closing in on Lorenz Assignon from Stade Rennais.

According to Corriere della Sera, the winger has already expressed his willingness to move to the capital.

Now the Giallorossi must reach an agreement with the French club who own him.

The proposal is that of a loan with option while Rennes would like to include an obligation to make Assignon’s transfer permanent for at least 12 million euros.

Roma have intensified contacts with Rennes in order to close the deal as soon as possible.
