The Trojans overcame a 20-point, third-quarter deficit to take the victory in Charlotte. Quarterback Finley Polk scored five touchdowns in the win.

Fort Mill records its first 50-point performance since 2014 behind two touchdowns from quarterback Quinn Kelly and running back Josef Anderson.

Blythewood 44, Nation Ford 6

After leading 3-0 after the first quarter, Blythewood poured it on with a 20-point second quarter to rout Nation Ford. The Falcons’ lone points came on a 24-yard touchdown pass from Carson Sanford to Jayden Scott late in the first half.

Chapin 47, Catawba Ridge 37

Chapin jumped out to a 16-0 first-quarter lead and left Fort Mill with a victory. Catawba Ridge quarterback C.J. Couch threw a pair of touchdown passes in the loss.

A late 55-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Brandon Smith helped Clover hold on to a season-opening victory over Chambers. Running back Landon Stone had two touchdowns in the win.

Lancaster scored three touchdowns on the ground to overcome a double-digit deficit to beat Chester. Quarterback R.J. Brown ran for two scores for the Bruins, while Chester lost senior starting quarterback Trooper Floyd due to injury in the first half.
