It’s been quite the couple of days for the teams that call Madison Square Garden home.

After the New York Knicks selected R.J. Barrett third overall in the 2019 NBA Draft and later acquired Ignas Brazdeikis on Thursday, the two Canadians made an appearance at the draft party for the NHL’s Rangers the following night.

And while I’m no stylist, the threads that they showed up in were a pretty wise decision.

Based on the chants that rained down on Barrett, the many thousands that were in attendance at the Garden loved his wardrobe choice.

As a couple of boys from the Greater Toronto Area, Barrett and Brazdeikis likely know a thing or two about the old skatey-punchy. Therefore, they were likely pretty excited to see the Rangers select Finnish stud Kaapo Kakko with the second overall pick.

With that, a 18-, 19- and 20-year-old are making the move to the Big Apple next season and all have the potential to make an enormous impact on their respective squads.

Imagine the sitcom potential if the three of them were to move in together...
